Beginner CEF Level A1

Objective

To provide an introduction to English by creating a base to enable learners to interact in a simple way in every-day transactions.

Who is this course for?

This course is for complete or false beginners. At the end of this course you will be able to talk about yourself and others and deal with most basic situations you might encounter when travelling where the interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly to you.

Elementary CEF Level A1+/A2

Objective

To provide an introduction to English by creating a base to enable learners to interact in a simple way in every-day transactions.

Who is this course for?

This course is for complete or false beginners - people who speak no English or who may understand very little. At the end of this course you will be able to talk about yourself and others and deal with most basic situations you might encounter when travelling where the interlocutor speaks slowly and clearly to you.

Pre Intermediate CEF A2+ / B1

Objective

To strengthen the grammatical control and widen vocabulary so that participants’ competence and confidence is developed to deal with more day-to-day situations at a lower intermediate level.

Who is this course for?

This course is for learners of a Common European Framework (CEF) level A2+ and/or B1 – Pre Intermediate level. Before any course participants must take a CEF based speaking interview so their current level may be checked. At the end of this level you will be much more independent. You will be able to participate in group discussions and deal with almost all situations that you might encounter while travelling.

Intermediate CEF Level B1 / B1+

Objective

To develop participants’ ability to deal with key practical situations they face in the day-to-day world through the medium of English.

Who is this course for?

This course is for learners who are already functional in English, learners at the CEF level B1+.Learners at this level are able to deal with most day-to-day situations that arise, but they have limited vocabulary and grammatical control. This course aims to develop the learner's fluency, expand their grammatical control and help them to develop their use of common collocations.

Upper Intermediate CEF Level B2

Objective

To develop the participants’ control over grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking skills so that they are able to better function in an English speaking environment.

Who is this course for?

This course is for learners at the Common European Framework (CEF) level of B2 – Upper Intermediate. Learners at this level are very fluente, but still have difficulty using more complex grammar and collocations. The course aims to help these learners develop their ability to use more complex structures and expressions more commonly used by native English speakers. 

Advanced CEF Level C1

Objective

To develop the participants’ control over grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking skills so that they are able to better function in an English speaking environment.

Who is this course for?

The Advanced course is the CEF C1 level. This is the highest level we offer. Learners at this level are typically people who have lived abroad and who can already speak fluently, but who may not have practised for some time. The course at this level helps learners consolidade complex gramatical structures, improve the phonetic aspects of their English and most importantly, develop their knowledge and use of collocations commonly used by native speakers.
